Saturday and Sunday found us in Dorchester for the County Show.
The weatherman had been scaring us with talk of big rain. But he was wrong.
There were a few showers though. And this black cloud threatened a bit of a downpour.
Didn’t happen though.
This was a great show with lots to see and do.
I really enjoyed watching the sheep shearing.
The New Forest Yokels (Dorset Wurzels) provided a sing along in one of the beer tents.
Elsewhere, if you fancied a drink, the Piddle bar(it’s a brewery !!) was very popular especially the Pimms.
There were some interesting prize winners in the Horticultural and Craft Marquees.
A great show. We were impressed by the organisers who were very attentive to us traders and asked for feedback.
We gave it. All good apart from the lack of Ladies toilets. Could do with more. Maybe it was all that Pimms.!!
Dog of the Day was the teddybear like “Raymond” who is a 17 week old Wire Haired Fox Terrier.
Frome Cheese Show next weekend, Can’t wait!!
