Sue John of Barty's Trading

Sue started buying ‘seconds’ in kitchen woodware and began selling with a small table at a car boot sale. She then progressed onto a tiny stall at a local village fete and started adding in ceramics and other items to the product range.

This was the start of ‘Barty’s Trading’.

‘Barty’s’ has now progressed to a much larger stall and can now be seen reguarly at many Fetes, Village Days and County Shows and Fairs around the South West of England.

Over the years we have expanded the products on the stall to include a lovely range of British made woollen blankets, French soaps plus terracotta and galvanised garden pots and planters. Along with this we have become heavily involved with several local blacksmiths to design and create some gorgeous British made metal garden art, including trees of life, rustic metal wild flowers and birds along with a range of metal animals.

Sue (known as Barty to her friends), and her husband Mike, look forward to seeing you throughout the year.
