Chagford 2013

Lovely place Chagford. Right on the edge of Dartmoor. This is a great show to do. The people here are so friendly.

We set up the night before and slept in our van. The morning of the show day was a bit overcast but that didn’t put anyone off.

The locals, and not so locals, flocked in. There were lots of Ponys and Horses to see

, Terrier Racing and the “Paws for Thought” rescue dog display team.

Plus the “Best Sheep’s Arse” Competition

The Horticultural Tent had some fine exhibits.

Some lovely stalls. This was my favourite (apart from ours obviously)

There was a great band wandering around the show, playing some great toe-tappers.

Although this guy had obviously had enough toe tapping and decided a snooze was the best idea.

Could have shut his mouth, eh?

My dog of the day was to be “Alice”.

At just over a year old this Standard Wirehaired Dachsund is a real cutie!!

and such a tart !!

We were beaten into 2nd place by the Binoculars stall (can’t see it myself)

but we were very pleased to have been acknowleged by the judges.

Thanks Chagford, see you next summer.
